Morocco to face Ecuador and Paraguay in March friendlies ahead of FIFA World Cup 2026

RABAT, March 25 (Xinhua) -- Morocco will play two friendlies during the last international break before the World Cup, against Ecuador on March 27 in Madrid, Spain, and Paraguay on March 31 in Lens, France.

The matches will be the first for the Moroccan squad under new head coach Mohamed Ouahbi, who replaced Walid Regragui on March 5.

The two friendlies are part of Morocco's preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be held in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

The Atlas Lions were drawn into Group C alongside Brazil, Scotland and Haiti.
