RIO DE JANEIRO, Jan. 15 (Xinhua) -- Flamengo and Brazil international winger Bruno Henrique is being pursued by Saudi Arabia's Al-Hilal, according to reports in the Brazilian press.
The Riyadh-based club is prepared to offer 10 million euros (around 12 million U.S. dollars) to secure the 30-year-old on a long-term deal, the Lance news outlet said on Friday.
It added that Flamengo would likely raise its asking price for the former Santos and Wolfsburg player, whose contract with the Rio de Janeiro club expires in December 2023.
Henrique, who has been capped twice for Brazil, played a key role in the Flamengo side that won the Brazilian Serie A-Copa Libertadores double in 2019, scoring 35 times in 62 matches across all competitions.
However, he has since struggled to recapture his best form, and has managed just 18 goals in 42 matches in the current season.
