Hamilton will be a 'chauffeur' in Sao Paulo

British Grand Prix driver Lewis Hamilton, current leader of the Formula 1 World Championship, is set to become a sort of 'chauffeur' next week in Sao Paulo.

Columnist Joyce Pascovich wrote in the Brazilian website UOL Wednesday that having the McLaren-Mercedes driver as 'chauffeur' is the prize granted to the winner in a contest organised by a well-known brand of Scotch whisky.

The winner is to be announced two days before the last Grand Prix of the season is held in Sao Paulo.

The rules of the contest say the leader of the Formula 1 world championship will drive the winner to a hotel in the elegant Jardins neighbourhood in Sao Paulo.

For many, driving a car down Sao Paulo streets may prove more challenging for Hamilton than a Grand Prix in the Interlagos circuit, where he will attempt to become the youngest-ever F1 World Champion.
